What is Automation

Automation is the use of technology to perform tasks where human’s input is minimized (minimal human intervention).

Types of process automation:

● Robotic Process Automation(RPA).

○ the use of software ‘robots’ to automate human activities that are manual, rule-based and repetitive.

○ RPA tools cannot make judgments about the data they use

● Intelligent Process Automation(IPA).
