What is web analytics?
Web analytics is the act of studying the behavior of visitors to a website by tracking, examining, and reporting the data generated by their use of the site and its components, such as its web pages, photos, and videos. Web analytics is also known as web analytics.
Among the activities and behaviors that are measured by analytics platforms on a website are the following: the number of people who visit, the length of time they stay, the number of pages they visit, the pages they visit, and whether or not they arrived at the website by following a link.
Businesses make use of web analytics solutions in order to monitor and benchmark the performance of their websites, as well as to examine key performance indicators that are important to their operations, such as the rate at which customers make purchases.
