AQU Course (1): Applied Plant Physiology
By the end of this module, students will be able to:
1. Explain the mechanisms of solute transport in plants, including diffusion, osmosis, and active transport.
2. Describe the role of root hairs, xylem, and phloem in solute and water transport.
3. Analyze the factors affecting solute transport, such as transpiration, soil conditions, and plant physiology.
4. Apply knowledge of solute transport to real-world scenarios, such as agriculture and environmental conservation. This flipped education module ensures that students engage with the material before class, participate actively during class, and reinforce their learning afterward.
It also encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world application of knowledge.
