AQU Course (1): Applied Plant Physiology
By achieving these learning outcomes, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of plant hormones and growth regulators, acquire practical skills in experimentation and data analysis, and develop a responsible attitude towards sustainable and ethical agricultural practices.
1. Describe the major plant hormones and their functions in plant growth and development
2. Understand the role of plant hormones: explain the functions and mechanisms of key plant hormones, including auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins, ethylene, abscisic acid, and brassinosteroids.
3. Identify plant growth regulators: recognize and differentiate between various plant growth regulators and their effects on plant growth and development.
